How do I extract .vdi to a hard drive using ubuntu?
Custom i7 machine with netbook
1. Do you just want the data or are you trying to make a non-virtualized bootable partition?
2. Do you have a working install of VirtualBox that is able to run your .vdi or is this an emergency recovery situation?
edit - At the end of This Page there is a method for using VdiTool to excise the raw image from a VDI. If you are trying to do something simpler than that please post back and I can prolly help you.
