    USB TV Tuner Suggestions

Are there any good TV Tuners that work out of the box (at least most of the time)?

We don't have much need for recording, mostly we want to watch live TV.

Its for a system thats still in planning so I can't give too many details yet, but I intend to run 8.10 64-bit(though if there is a good USB tuner that works better in 8.04 I could run that too).

The Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T Lite (DVB-T) works fine for me in Hamburg, and was pretty cheap at around 30 euros.

I'm using it with 8.04 Hardy Heron; I set it up about 6 months back and had to install the latest v4l-dvb drivers and the firmware file. But it is now said to work "out-of-the-box" with 8.10 Intrepid. In case you speak German (I notice that you live in Berlin), here's the corresponding German Ubuntu wiki article:

    Good luck!
