    Hide KDE From Synaptic

Is there any way to hide KDE packages when searching with Synaptic?
For instance, if I am searching for a Mahjong game, KMahjong is found but I have to install all the KDE libs just to run this small game.

Its not really worth it so I would rather hide the KDE packages if possible.

Can you help me create a filter please?

I tried (Settings->Filters->Create custom filter) Properties -> Dependent Packages excludes kdebase-runtime

If I search for mahjong with no filter on it returns kmahjong and gnome-games (amongst others)

However, if I select the new custom filter nothing is returned at all.

I would expect kmahjong to disappear from the search results and gnome-games to stay.
