[SOLVED] Upgrade to 8.10 wiped out command bar

I upgraded to 8.10 yesterday and the top command bar of all windows has disappeared. I have also lossed the ability to move any open window. I cant minimize/maximize or close any window. The only way to close a window is with the ctrl w command. Does anyone know how to fix this, or will I have to reinstall 8.10?

    Do you have compiz running?

    What happens if you do:

    Alt+F2

    And type:

    metacity --replace

I do have compiz running. When I entered "metacity --replace it brought the command bar back for the terminal window, but when I closed it, it reverted back to the way it was before. Will I have to reinstall??
