Set TV as second or mirrored screen

When I connect my TV to the DVI output on the video card, it shows the POST and Ubuntu bootscreen; but once the login screen comes up the TV goes blank and stops receiving a video signal.

How do I tell Ubuntu to send to both screens? (Preferably mirrored, but the most important thing is getting it to work).

The graphics card is an nVidia GeForce (forgot the exact model), using proprietary drivers.

Any ideas?

Running "sudo nvidia-settings" and changing them did the trick. Duh
