USB wireless network connection keeps going after Ubuntu shuts down
Does anyone know how to get Ubuntu to close a NetGear WPN111 USB wireless network connection during the process of Ubuntu's shutting down?
I notice that after my computer has completely closed down and turned off, the USB connector is still flashing its blue light. It's not really an issue because I just turn the computer off at the mains after shutdown. That fixes it. I was wondering if there might be a more elegant way of closing the connection, though.
Thank you in advance,
