I've just done a clean install of Intrepid on my R50e thinkpad, which has been running Ubuntu since Dapper. However, I'm experiencing two issues that searching the internet and this forum hasn't yet come up with a solution:

1. The laptop uses the ipw2200 wireless chipset that has always worked flawlessly with my wpa connection. However, whilst I can still connect to my network with Intrepid the connection is now unstable, and regularly drops out and then back in every few minutes.

2. Suspend to Ram used to work fine with the i810 video driver after a bit of tweaking to xorg.conf and the sleep.sh file. With Intrepid, i810 doesn't appear to be an option anymore so I'm forced to use the Intel driver. The laptop will suspend but won't wake up - I get either a blank screen or a completely garbled display. All fixes I've found and tried are for the i810 driver and none work (not surprisingly).

Anybody got any suggestions?
