I'll join this thread; I always use iGoogle to monitor ubuntuforums. Although not perfect (the Ubuntuforums RSS feeds only seem to update once an hour or so), I find it better then browing ubuntuforums itself.

Very interesting. I have taken to designing my own webpage that does what I want it to do. But this is a very interesting project indeed.

Exactly, I did the same thing at first. Everything hard coded to be precisely where I wanted it - not very customizable or userfriendly. So I figured since I already knew my way around the basics of WP, that would make a good platform for this project.

    Agreed...I like my IGoogle!
Yahoo has something similar, but you can't put as many obscure sites on it as you can on IGoogle and the sticky post does not save your notes longer than a couple days.

FWIW: I switched to http://www.feedly.com/ and it works great.

And the good news is that feedly apparantly can use your Google / Gmail login, so no need to create another account and it imports all your old settings.

    I'm happy

I know that's a kill feature and I would love to implement that, but I'm not that good at coding. I'm still the only one writing code for this project. I'm considering posting some of the missing features on http://www.wpquestions.com/ and throwing some cash after the project.
