Hmmm. I am not listed on the team. I see people with 0 WU's done and they are listed. I am about %60 done with a WU, and am hoping that it will make me show up on the team.

Okay, I ran the config and it went okay.
Now, once I run it as a daemon will it remember the config settings? (how can I check?)
Edit: Yes it does
Everything okay now
Edit2: How do I make a username or can i view stats locally?

Why does it has to be run on wine? i thought that there was a real version for linux. My computer it's not at the bleeding edge, but i can leave it during the night on to work.
There's another version, x86-64bit, this is only for 64bit processors?

OK, I want to join in, but despite I use Linux 24-7, I'm not a computer guru. I'm a med student. So... could someone please give a crash course for dummies to install and run this? please?
I have 3 computers, two of them I can leave them running for days (one until Windows crashes), the other one has Xubuntu and I have tested it to full 15 days, working, without even restarting the X server, and my laptop, I can leave it at night.

F@H does not have to be run on Wine.
The following is what I did to run the F@H client on a 32-bit operating system.
1. Create a folder in your user account called Folding32.
2. Download the 5.04 client from Stanford's site to the Folding32 folder. http://folding.stanford.edu/English/Download
3. Extract the tarball within the Folding32 folder. Right-click > Extract > Extract Here
4. Start a Terminal.
5. Change to the Folding32 directory.
6. Make the F@H client executable by typing, in the Terminal,Code:cd /home/arashiko28/Folding32
http://folding.stanford.edu/English/LinConsoleInstallCode:chmod +x FAH5-Linux.exe
7. Run the client by typing, in the Terminal,
8. The client should start and ask you for some information.Code:./FAH5-Linux.exe
9. Pick a username to identify yourself.
10. To join TeamUbuntu, enter 45104 when the client asks you which team to join.
11. The default choices for the other questions should be correct.

Did you perhaps set it to prefer deadlineless work units? There's none available and so it won't connect. (I know, not very logical)
