    Smile Very bad tearing in Ubuntu, Vertical Sync?

    Im coming across very bad tearing in Ubuntu while dragging windows, browsing down a webpage and so on.
    Is there a way to turn on vertical sync for a few programs or every program?

    What video card do you have, and have you enabled the restricted driver (System>Administration>Hardware Drivers)?

    V bad internal Intel card.
    Tearing happens on my Geforce 260 aswel
    In hardware it says there are no drivers
