    CD rip to flac files

I will be backing up my CDs to lossless .flac files (not mp3) that I received for x-mas!!. Until this year used EAC for windows OS, but now I am strictly on the penguin's side. I am actually using LinuxMint 6 (based on Ubuntu).

which program is ideal to convert CD to flac?

    thanks,

    gychang

Thumbs down Re: CD rip to flac files

If you are an audiophile and were on eac, you want log files, define offsets etc like you can in eac then I would go with RubyRipper over soundjuicer. If you are not bothered about this stuff however soundjuicer is a nice little app.

Also, EAC is also one of the few apps that are fully compatible with wine under linux and run well I heard.. though I cant say for myself
