I haven't tried ibex, but compared to Hardy it looks bloated, in my opinion. But hey, i've always hated gadgets and widgets and whatnot.
Merry christmas all!

I have used many a distro over the years, and I have to say that none of have have developed as quickly as Ubuntu and none of them have picked up mind share or a user base as quickly as Ubuntu has. And the momentum continues to grow, redhat had good following initially, but then they went public and the momentum and good will seem to dissipate -- Ubuntu has not betrayed the trust and from the looks of it, they are not going to.
really don't think so.

I just finally installed Intrepid with a clean install. I've been using since Breezy, and this is definitely the best release I've seen by far. It was pretty painless to set up. I can't say that for some of the past releases.
And this is the first time I've been able to get the nvidia proprietary drivers working easily for my geforce 8600 with the Hardware Drivers manager. It just worked. In the past, it's been a major pain.

Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You. - Dr. Seuss
Only problem I have is the terrible NVidia drivers available for Intrepid (I can no longer enable desktop effects using OpenGL, I can only get very buggy XRender), I guess I can't blame Ubuntu for that though
Saying that you "could care less" about something is implying that you DO care about it, regardless of common usage.
Using it as a way of saying you don't care is simply wrong.
