Do you think ubuntu is getting worse with every release?

I do think it's getting better, with a complete miss at times, which is just my opinion. Tried and decided to skip 8.10, running on 8.04 as main OS, with 9.04 just for fun. Must say 9.04 looks promising, I like it, apart from PA. They shouldn't force these things if it's not ready for day to day use.

UBUNTU is getting better all the time. It is easier to install and covers more hardware. installed 8.10 on Compaq CQ50-115NR using WUBI. the only problem was I needed to use third party software installer for video driver. otherwise works super.

I'm now running Jaunty, and xorg has severe graphical artifacts my intel video card that render the system unusable.

I think Ubuntu is progressing nicely, there is so many different hardware configuration that it is difficult to support every one of them. May be the development cycles should be modified so the X.04 release will remain a beta in progress until the X.10 official release...Just a thought.
