Tethering a Windows Mobile 6.1 Samsung Blackjack II with a Ubuntu 8.04 netbook remix

I currently have a Sylvania Meso G netbook with Ubuntu 8.04 loaded on it. I am looking to tether my Samsung Blackjack II (2) on it. The Blackjack II is running Windows Mobile 6.1, and it tethers just fine with my Windows XP Home laptop

I have the red one... Install 8.10, it auto saw it, and allowed tethering without me having to screw with anything...

Oh Under SETTING/CONNECTIONS/USB it has to be set to modem.

If you do not have the unlimited Internet on your acct. it's gonna rack up some kb
