toshiba nb100 help

Hello to all.

I have just bought a Toshiba NB100 netbook and have install ubuntu 8.10 and also have tried the remix versions and i still cannot get the wireless to work and have installed the payson toshiba support.

I have followed the recommendation from the following thread [all variants] Toshiba NB 100 problem and still not having any luck.

ubuntu recognises that the hardwares there ( Atheros 802.11 wireless card) in hardware drivers but cannot get it to work.

I'm still new to this and I'm sure it something simple but just don't know what???????

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
