Thumbs down USB plugs don't work any longer

Please, suddenly, usb plugs in my computer don't detect any memory stick inserted in. Has Linux any way to solve it, provided it's a software problem?

    Thanks a lot.

    have you tried

    dmesg | tail

? You should be able to see whether your thumbdrive is detected at all.

Have tried it in terminal and as a result it says it is not accepted address 63, error - 32. A new try says device descriptor read/64, error -32. So what can I do?

    Thanks

Please, I need help to solve the missing USB plugs in Ubuntu.

I really need advise and a clear explanation (not an expert at all). You can guess how nagging is this circumstance.

    Thanks
