Hard lock with intrepid-64

90% of the time, after logging in , eventually(within 10 minutes, normally) my system will hard lock. Does not seem to register as a kernel panic as my caps lock key does not blink. Memtest shows no errors, so now I have no idea what to do.

I've narrowed it down to ath9k, so its obviously a networking issue.


I'm using a netgear WNR854T Wireless- N router with a DWA-542 Dlink wireless N network card(ar5008 chipset)

Due to an increase in wireless noise in my neighborhood I have the router forced into b/g mode. Could this be the issue?
