As a longtime BugControl triager and especially a triager that focuses on New/No Package bugs I thank you for writing this. Makes my life a lot easier!
I find this post *very useful*, if you agree I would like to translate it to spanish and post it, at least in the Argentinean Forum, and I would like to promote it among the other spanish speaking forums.
I'm confident that you will agree on this but I just wanted to check before, obviusly the translation will have a link to this thread.
When you are finished with your translation, post back here and I will include a link in the guide. Thank you for asking in advance
My idea is to help people to understand what is a bug and how to report it, if they don't know english with the LoCo we can help with the translation
That might be useful to include in your translation, sajnox.Code:$ ls /foo ls: no se puede acceder a /foo: No existe el fichero ó directorio $ LANG= ls /foo ls: cannot access /foo: No such file or directory
Don't try to make something "fast" until you are able to quantify "slow".
Posted this as a resource for the Beginners Team Education Focus Group. Great post.
Well, here it is a first translation, I have asked the people in the LoCo to improve it and release it.
List items work like so:
[*] item 1
[*] item 2
or for numbered lists, just start with [LIST=1] (numbers increment automatically)
If you'd like, I can email you the bbcode contents of my original post so you can apply the formatting and sized/colored section headers to your translated guide. No need to post your email here, I can do it from your user profile, or you can PM me a different email address other than the one you are registered here with. Just let me know!
