Wireless Problem

I'm using the Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card on a Dell Inspiron 1525 with xUbuntu 8.10 and Windows Vista. Recently my wireless has not been able to connect on both operating systems on the laptop. When I click on Network Manager, it shows a list that looks like:

Wired Network
Auto eth0
Wireless Networks
wireless is disabled
-----------------------
VPN Connections >

I downloaded WICD and that also shows no networks. My main computer with xUbuntu 8.04 and Windows XP can connect to the same wireless connection (well, XP can), but my laptop cannot. Help would be appreciated.

EDIT: nevermind. Somehow I turned the WIFI switch off. ;-;
