    Powertweak

    How can i run Powertweak???I've tried many times but it says powertweak runs as root only.

    In Terminal try:
    Code:
    gksudo powertweak
    For good measure the terminal is accessed from the main menu:
    Applications > Accessories > Terminal
    Spiralinear: Humanity & Machines
    RUNNING: Fedora | FreeBSD | Windows 7

    gksudo gpowertweak then gui shows up!

    My mistake. It's been awhile since I've used Powertweak. The correct command should be:
    Code:
    gksudo gpowertweak
    Spiralinear: Humanity & Machines
    RUNNING: Fedora | FreeBSD | Windows 7
