Question Installing Ubuntu 8.10 Busybox Problem

Hi, I have been trying to install Ubuntu for a LONG time now, I am currently running Fedora Core 10, and it works fine. However, I have tried to install Ubuntu MANY times, and when I cant even get into the install, it takes me to BusyBox, after reading a few posts I tried the alternative text install cd, it worked fine, I got it installed, then when I started to boot, anyway want to guess what happened....BUSYBOX ;o. Anyway, anyone know how I can get this to work correctly?

    Thankyou .

Thanks for the advice...wish I would have tried the alternative install earlier and read the error , simply added rootdelay=130 to the end of the kernel entry.

    Thanks.
