I speak Setswana and Sesotho (southern Sotho) with a fair amount of fluency. I picked the blog name years ago when I thought no one would be looking, and now it's just stuck. Can't change it; that would rock the boat.

Thank you both. For making xfce4 look like that:
Murrine-svn theme. I make my own, same for the Emerald theme.
Hydroxygen icons (then add the leopard gtk-back/forward buttons in to replace the other buttons).
Use the cario patch for true transparency for the xfce4-panel.
Edit all screenlet python scripts to use the same font and same colors..... also edit the background.svgs to look better using Inkscape. (background images using the same color..... I also make the pager image a bit wider so the boxes don't show off the side of the image)
Here is the download link: http://www.loculus.nl/xfce/files/panel-cairo.patch
and the xfce4 page that it is from: http://blog.xfce.org/?p=177
In the patch, you will have to edit the version numbers from 4.4.2 to 4.4.3 and I found it was easier to edit the patch to use the "diff -ur" command for all of the patches paths and using the exact directory path for each of the patches.
Let me know if this works for you..... if it doesn't I can post my edited patch and PKGBUILD.
I was about to write the detailed instructions down until I saw that this pkg was still in the AUR: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=22081
It seems pretty current and up to date, give it a try and let me know if it works..... if not then I will post my edited patch and PKGBUILD
Yeah, but that pkg does not exist (error 404)
