    Getting a new PC/Monitor - Looking for advice/tips

Alright, I will be ordering a new PC and Monitor from newegg later today and looking for some advice.

My budget is around $750 tops.

I was thinking this PC: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883241005

    And this monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009145

But, I have some concerns. I have never heard of ZT Element until now, has anyone had any experience with them? Such as their reliability and linux support?

And this is the first monitor I will ever own that has not been a 15 inch 4:3 monitor. So, I really know nothing about monitors , so... would that be a good one for the price? And I'm pretty sure that one supports 1080p, is this correct? And also, I plan to use this monitor with my xbox 360 as well as my PC, so how would it hold up to gaming?

Oh and, I'll be using this PC for all around things, web browsing, email, watching HD video, some gaming, possibly video encoding/editing, and folding@home. Think it'll be able to do this?

So, yeah that's about it, and if this isn't a good combo/pc for the price or w/e, please tell me! , or if you know of a better deal. And I hope this is the right section for this. Thanks for any help.

For around 750 tops , youll go just over it on the box, but its well worth it in my opinion

Alternately you could turn around and take the lower level entry from system76 and pump it all the way and still get at or under 750.

Ive had a fairly modicum of success with them as a system vendor.

As far as speaking on or about ZT, I find it harder to trust out to the box no name vendors like this one. My opinion is go with what you can get support for, not something thats hard to get support at all for.
