I updated to the new version today, and encountered a problem: iplist failed to start on every boot. I have to enable it manually every time.

    Error message in syslog:
    Code:
Mar 11 xx:xx:xx user-desktop ipblock[5897]: error: failed to start, cleaning up

    Using Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.04

Problem is that it's always disabled (with a blank white window), no matter how I install it. Even tried lenny-support, but that didn't make any visible difference. Also followed your instructions multiple times, but it's still the same.

Tried on both Wired and Wireless. Using Acer Aspire One (model ZG5).

Actually, there's still a problem. It's still blank even after enabling it!

How do I know it's working? It does say "IPBlock - x-number IPs loaded" on the taskbar though.

Everything working fine after reboot. Can see the GUI and log now. Maybe that should be included in the tutorial..

Okay, to ensure it will work without any problems, I have to disable it before exiting or shutting down. If I don't, it will likely become blank.

Click on the "Network" tab and put a check mark in the box "HTTP". Does that work?
