Nice Elementary. You use it as a main os? I realy liked it's DE in beta 1, but will wait for the final release to elaborate more. Now I'm happy with XFCE

Yes, I use it as my main OS. I removed apport to prevent bothersome crash messages from popping up, but quite frankly the system is super stable, even if it's only in beta 2 at this point.

The only thing I would really like to see added because I need it is the possibility to sync the Calendar (formerly known as Maya) with my Google Agenda. That would be just awesome.

My pleasure. I hope you enjoy it and see how stable and nice it is. as you're probably aware already, Luna is built on an Ubuntu 12.04 foundation, brought to you with its own desktop environment.

Here is my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS setup I have recently switched to Linux fully from Mac OS X. Very happy! As you can see, I like a clean desktop! I find it interesting that the thing that made my try linux in the first time back in 2008 was the "cool" effects like the cube, wobbly windows and the flame effect when you close the windows. Now I don't have any fancy effects enabled
