Except Russia isn't in Europe, It's not in the EU, it's not in Eastern Europe, it's not in Western Europe.

Although England prides it's self on being able to cram 60 million people into an area the size of half of California.

Re: Looking to form a Texas LoCo team

Texas needs a LoCo!

I have been using Ubuntu since the autumn of 2006 (Dapper). I'm now using Hardy Heron on my AMD64 home box and on my HP Compaq nx6110 laptop at work (32-bit). With the exception of a bug that is preventing my from syncing my digital music player in Amarok, Hardy has been great.

I'm a teacher and a curriculum and technology coordinator at a school for troubled kids in the mountains of far West Texas. I still consider myself a linux noob, but I'm getting pretty geeky with it. I'd love to contribute in anyway I can to getting a Texas LoCo going.

And to the starter of this thread, I grew up in San Antonio (Clark HS, 85, St. Mary's 89). Go Spurs Go!

If nothing else, a Texas LoCo team will give Texas some prescence (did I spell that right?) in the Ubuntu community.
Ummmm... no, you didn't spell presence correctly, but that's to be expected from someone with two strikes (at least) against them. Being both a Cajun and an Aggie, it's amazing that you can even type.

I spend about half my time in Houston, and half in the middle of nowhere, east of Wacko.

Re: Looking to form a Texas LoCo team

As myself, I am originally from Houston, grew up in San Antonio as well. Just moved back from Denver, Colorado to Aransas Pass, Texas (right out side of Corpus Christi). I am too looking for a LoCo Team
