my VAIO doesn't recognize my MS PRO reader

I just joined in ubuntu's OS and i'm still checking everything.
I realise that it doesn't recognize the MS PRO memory cards from my SONY Digital camera.
It works with the SD cards, but not the ones from SONY.
I have a VAIO VGN-FZ31E.
Can you help me?
