Linux, Or Other 'Nix, Certification Training Suggestions?

Hi All,

I have just been given the green light to look for Linux related training that would lead to a certification by my employer. No money out of pocket for me but the key is that I need to be able to come out of the training basically ready to test. Are any of familiar with any boot camps of other recommended training that would put me on track for something of that nature? Any input would be welcome. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I'm already registered for that and I think the cost is free. The certificate is not one that is an industry standard though so I was looking for other options to consider as well as that one.

Yes it will be free when it opens this summer. Used to be a $2,400 course. So I think the certificate of completion (that will also be free and that edX usually charges for) should be of some value towards employers. Of course, MOOC certifications are in their infancy. Talk to your employer and ask them if they would consider it.

If you want a professional Linux certification, look at RHEL certs which IMO would be the most respected http://www.redhat.com/training/certi...certifications
