Applications Issue

Greetings,

I've searched under Applications and app launcher
but I didn't find this particular issue. Excuse
me if it's already been solved.

Here is my issue.

I installed webcam program Cheese.
I works when called from Terminal with;
Cheese

It's listed under;
Applications->Graphics->Cheese

When I click on Cheese it starts for a brief
moment then shuts down.

I right clicked on Applications and under Edit
Menus found in Launcher Properties the run command;
cheese

If I use "add this launcher to desktop" it creates
a Cheese Icon that will successfully run Cheese.

Which leaves me wondering why the desktop Icon works
and;
Applications->Graphics->Cheese
will not.

I believe so. In each instance, whether from menu item or desktop icon, it is always the program name, Cheese.

Just to be sure in Edit Menu right click on cheese and select properties and see if there are anny added options to the command line.

Nope. Desktop P4 3 GH 2GB ram All available upgrades.
