Wink Kubuntu's Aero like look in ubuntu

I have been using ubuntu for two months. As I have said in my earlier post I am loving it. Thanks to ubuntu Community for such an awesome operating system.
I recently came over a post that said i can install kde on the same system and choose any of kde or gnome at login.
I am always interested to try out new things. So I installed kubuntu-desktop package.
I would symply say its awesome. Specially its aero like looks.I was used to windows 7 aero before shifting to ubuntu. So after wiping out windows and installing ubuntu I was little bit upset about that aero.Could that aero be in ubuntu?
So my point is Can't we get this aero look in Ubuntu. As I feel more comfortable with ubuntu as i am used to it now you know!

    aero look?

    you mean something like this:

    http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/11/d...-for-dockbarx/

    http://www.webupd8.org/2010/11/dockb...-released.html

i think you can get more than aero looks in ubuntu.

if thats not it, let me know.

and glad you like kde too, it has become very good lately.

in fact windows "borrowed" or got "inspired" by some kde stuff.

i switch between kde and gnome from time to time. I never get bored

Angry Re: Kubuntu's Aero like look in ubuntu

something went wrong! I have no external graphics card.
    Only G41 express chipset.
Same hardware works with windows 7 to produce aero effect.
But kwin reports something. I search for it and found thats the problem with driver.
Can I still get those effects? Any solution Please.................

if "special effects" worked on gnome / normal ubuntu, then i think you can get effects on kubuntu too

however, kubuntu looks very good even without 3d effects because of its nice rendering engine.

anyway those 2 links i gave you are for gnome.

for kde there is another app, that make the windows list into icons like the w7 bar.

    I installed those in gnome........anyway
But I think I could not use 3d with ubuntu too..As I was not able to run any game under wine requiring direct rendering.....
Is there any way to solve it?? Like having a driver that will solve this problem...I was said that I have built in graphics memory in my G41 express chipset.................
    ...
    Any Help..?????????
