kilz, thank you so much for the tremendous package. I used this how-to a few months ago, before you wrote the scripts, and got everything to work with little trouble. This time it was an absolute breeze. Great stuff!
In your Firefox32-flash-java-mplayer-3.tar.gz script is the 4 & 5 lines really correct?
sudo dpkg -i ~/Desktop/ffinstall/firefox32/firefox32-1.5.0.6_amd64.deb
sudo cp -r -p ~/Desktop/ffinstall/firefox32/launcher/* ~/Desktop/
shouldnt it be
sudo dpkg -i ~/Desktop/ffinstall/firefox32-1.5.0.6_amd64.deb
at line 4 and the 5th line i dont know what that is supposed to do?, i could be wrong tho
Maby you should also include how to install w32codecs for wmv9 playback in your hotwo.

Thanks for all your effort with this.
I am ahving dome trouble and would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have.
After installing Firefox32 I am having some odd graphics bugs.
As you can see above, the dividers between the tabs, as well as all radio buttons, check boxes, scroll bars, etc. are all missing/blank/grey.
This does not happen with the 64bit version installed with apt-get.
I also did this on Breezy without a problem, but now in dapper I am having issues.
Does anyone know what might be wrong, and how I might fix it?
Thanks,
Matt
When I click on a trailer at apple it displays the mplayer plugin logo and starts buffering but always stalls at 99%
I made sure I am the owner of all the plugins under firefox32 and I do have the latest version of mplayer installed, I use it a lot.
Is there anything else I should check or is there a general methodology to use to diagnose this problem. Everything else worked like a charm, Thanks
Never mind. I uninstalled mplayer and then ran the script and it works now. Everything worked. Thanks a bunch.
