12.04 Fails to install in Asus Eee 1015 Seashell

FYI - 12.04 beta 1 Fails to install in Asus Eee 1015 Seashell starts the boot process and then falls into busybox. This machine has a 64GB SSD and works well on Fedora and Mint.

You don't provide much information so I guess your post is not meant as a request for help, right?

I had the same problem with a 3.2.0-21 kernel. Solved it by switching to 3.2.0-20 kernel.

Re: 12.04 Fails to install in Asus Eee 1015 Seashell

Crap! I was just about to install ubuntu 12.04 final stable release on my Eee PC 1015 Seashell. Started making backups already. hehe

Anybody knows if the final stable release works on Asus Eee PC 1015 Seashell, and what kernel version it was released?

Maybe I don't have the same version of 1015, because as far as I know my HardDrive is not a 64GB SSD, but actually a 250GB (guessing now) regular HardDrive.

Booting it up from a live USB it ran fine.

    Thanks!
