Re: Team Logo

I've been reading about Linux, mainly Ubuntu, all day after I've slowly come to the fact that Linux is unbelievable! Most of my time has been spent at youtube just watching videos of Beryl..

Anyways, I came across this group and I threw together a "logo" for the team. I just thought I'd upload them in case anyone wanted to use them as a background or something.. If anyone wants any changes, just let me know and I'll be glad to do it.

Re: Team Logo

Did anything every come of the shirts? One of my friends has an embroidery shop, and I know that the bulk of the cost is the shirt, but there is the digitizing of the logo that has some cost in it. It is a one time cost to make it readable by the embroidery software.

I could try to get up with him about getting it done also.

Re: Team Logo

Yea, the cost of having it put in the computer was $50. After that the costs of the shirts and hats varied greatly. from $15 and up depebding on what was bought.
I have a little money and was considering doing this so I caould have a hat and shirt for Software FreedomDay and the LugFest coming up.

Re: Team Logo

just was gonna let you know that www.cafepress.com does t-shirts plus a ton of other things that all you do is upload the image, move and resize it depending on the application it is going on, then order, t-shirts and everything varies in prices but it is a cheap and effective way to get the logo on things

and i am not sure where to post this but i made this by just looking at the sites logo

Re: Team Logo

Looks great!

Can you make an SVG out of it, so that we can make any size that we need out of it?

Re: Team Logo

Yea, that looks great, I like it as well. Do you have a larger version? I would like to put that on my Desktop.

Re: Team Logo

right now no, i am working on a bigger one just to use as a template for various things, but what resolution is your desktop? i can easily make a bigger one, i am trying to find out what fonts it is the ubuntu text is so i can make a full wallpaper with it and i checked the svg out and it is something i have never done so it may take me a little while to figure out how to get it to work right lol
