Can't Install Ubuntu 9.10 and XP

Bakit ganun hindi ko na po makita yung movable bar na nasa partition editor kapag nag-iinstall??

Dalawa Hrad disk na nakalagay sa kompyuter ko,pero sa tingin ko hindi naman makaka-apekto yun e..

May nabago sa installation?
or kailangan ako na mag-partition ng Hard disk ko manually??

hmm, wala namang irregularities sa screenshot mo, baka kailingan talagang mag partition ka, kasi na install mo ang XP na hindi hinati sa dalawa ang partition nung ininstall mo ang XP?

Dati kasi may bar dyan na i-move mo lang para ma-adjust kung ilang GB ang gamitin para sa Ubuntu...

sa 9.10 kasi wala ako makita...

There could be other factors that is causing the problem.
1. not enough disk space
2. fragments of windows filesystem (you need to defrag xp)
3. your partition is already messed up from repeated partitioning adjustments, and needed a fresh whole hdd re-partition.

tama po ! you can try to use partition magic sa XP then install mo na po yung 9.10
i tried already installing XP along side with WIN 7 together with Karmic..... well mas maganda pa rin ang ubuntu !!!!!!

May free space pa yung XP Harddisk ko...

Ang hinahanap ko lang yung bar na pwede mo i-adjust para sa partition..

Pakitignan po yung mga pic na nilagay ko..Sa unang post ko makikita nyo na yung hard disk na pinili ko ay yung 20GB
Ang maga option lang na pwede mo piliin ay

*Erase and use the entire disk
*Use the large continuous
*Specify partition manually



Sa PIC 2 ang mga option

*Install them side by side, choosing between them each startup
*Erase and use the entire disk
*Use the large continuous
*Specify partition manually

yun lang po yung hinahanap ko sa Karmic...

May mga nag-dual-boot na po ba sa inyo ng XP at Ubuntu Karmic?

Nag-beta test po ako dati ng Karmic pero ok naman yung Dual-boot.

Yep, actually naka dual boot ako ng karmic and xp. Other system is running quad boot, okay naman. The only process different na ginawa ko. Partitioned na ung hdd from primary to logical pati gagamitin ko storage para install ka nalang ng install.
