been an on-off user of ubuntu since....6.04

on-off kasi bigla kong kakailanganin si Windows(some software issues etc.)..

ngayon naka karmic koala na ako...and might be staying for good since puwede kong gawin yung ibang development work ko using Mono...

mukhang maganda ang karmic koala ngayon..yun nga lang medyo nagulo hard drive ko pero ok lang..hehe

Linux user for 1 year.

First ko gamit ng Ubuntu(my first Linux Distro) was when I was given an Ubuntu 8.04 LiveCD by one of the trainers at TESDA where I took a PC technician course.

Napaka-bumpy ng first impressions ko with using Ubuntu, especially when I was frustrated na hindi ma enable ang Desktop-effects, which the problem I traced to Linux not properly detecting my monitor's proper Sync and Refresh rates. From there it was self-study, trial and error and "when-all-else-fails-consult-the-forums" learning linux. Hindi ko na nga maalala kung ilang beses ako nag-reformat/re-install dahil sa mga kamalian ko.

Currently using Linux Mint 7, despite my attempts to try yung ibang mga distro I find it hard to acclimatize to their environments, probably because Ubuntu impacted so that I really am tied down to it...

Oh yeah, isa sa mga rason na na-astigan ako sa Linux...

I comes with a C compiler yung gcc(which back then I was just starting to learn )

tol musta? taga san pedro ka pala..baka naman mtulungan mo ko somehow..gusto ko kse itry mag-install ng ubuntu sa Eee PC notebook ko eh without crashing my winXp. Wala ako time mag-aral masydo, busy sa work eh. Nways, im eric taga bayan lang.

Mabuhay sa inyong lahat! Just new here. Though i've been using linux for quite a long time now, can't still kick windows out of my OS because of some software issues. Kasalukuyan kasi akong cellphone technician. Pero I'm now using vmware in my ubuntu karmic koala 9.10 kaya nagagawa ko na lahat ng nagagawa ko sa windows. Salamat sa ubuntu.
