    Question Battery Meter

I've been using Ubuntu on my MacBook Air mid 2011 and noticed the battery meter is wonky.
The time remaining seems fine, but it said 8%.
I close the laptop, reopen it, and now I'm on 76%. Anyone know how to calibrate the battery meter?

I have the same issue on a MacBook Pro 8,2. Haven't found a fix. Time to submit a bug report.

Not too sure about mac book, but my Compaq laptop also will get erroneously low remaining battery life, especially right after start up. However, after a while (a few minutes), the power usage tends to stabilize and the remaining life estimation increases dramatically.

Does your remaining battery life always stay low, or does it rise again after a while?
