Since when is Hibernation not working ?

    Hi everyone!

I filed a bug to the Kernel Bug tracker and I have to find where did hibernation stopped working. I can't remember when it started but with a little help I can test Ubuntu in Virtualbox to confirm where it happened.

    Thank you for your time.

Hibernation is disabled by default. See https://help.ubuntu.com/12.04/ubuntu...hibernate.html

But I believe that in 8.04 it was there. I think I used hibernation.

I think it was in the release of 12.04 that Hibernate was disabled by default, because it could cause problems on some system configurations.

    11.10 is no longer supported.

Are you having a problem with hibernation or are you looking to re-enable the hibernate option?
