I'm in DFW, too ... but, uh, dumb question...what's a Loco team do?

We're not gonna go around like a bunch of Jehovah's witnesses trying to pass out cd's and spreading the dogma, are we?

Now that's just too funny

If you guys are interested and serious about starting up a LoCo team, but not sure where to do it, a great place to start is by getting some advice from leaders of already established LoCo teams (such as Utah) and maybe contacting a member of the US LoCo Team (vorian may help you).

Also, try chatting with each other outside of forums, and maybe set up a meeting online in IRC or AIM or whatever your preference.

I'm a 33-year old long-time Linux "follower" and *buntu convert. Unfortunately, I'm 6 hours from Dallas and farther from Houston. I'm keeping an eye on the Texas Panhandle from Amarillo.

If anything happens or gets organized, add me to the list. If there are others in Amarillo who are interested in forming something, keep me posted.

Re: Looking to form a Texas LoCo team

All right guys, let's get this thing started. I am sick of there not being a TX loco team. I don't have too much free time, but I will try and find out how the others got started and became official. I would appreciate any others to do the same. Thanks.

I'm in Houston also, but considering Houston is the size of other states and more populated...

Actually he is from Connecticut, not Texas. He just likes to play cowboy like a lot of other yankees that move here.
