Face to Face Meeting

Several dates were discussed in regards to the face to face (f2f), during the meeting last Thursday, with no real firm date set. I think the window is the end of March to, or right after, the release of Hardy Heron. I think the idea is to plan a Saturday so people can have plenty of travel time

Personally I would prefer something on or after April 12th.

Lets hear the ideas!

Re: Face to Face Meeting

Its a green light for me any weekend except the March 29 weekend. I am flying to D.C. on that day. I'll be back sometime before Apr 5.

Well if we're doing a booth at the Monroe HAM fest on the 26th then that's something that needs to be taken into consideration.

Re: Face to Face Meeting

I would be interested in trying to arrange for a local resturant to do some type of kickback for hamfest funding, Like 5% of each ticket they have the night of the 26th that mentions the LoCo at the hamfest.

It could be a good way to get people out that are interested in learning more about ubuntu.

Anyone tried to do something like this before?
