    SSD and HDD

    I have a windows related question . When installing Ubuntu i can have root on SSD and my home on HDD . Is there a way to set something like that with Win7 where system is installed on SSD and my documents would go to HDD and i can set boot from SSD .

    Sure there is.

    It is not exactly like Ubuntu, where your whole home can reside in another drive, but it can be configured so it feels like that.

    Of course you can!
    Remember the folder structure for Docs, Pics, Downloads, etc is something that you can manage
    MS by default keeps that structure on the C drive
    But if you had say a drive E, there is nothing stopping you relocating the LOCATION property of any one folder from drive C to somewhere on drive E
