Popped in my $25 and got steam keys for everything, but not a single one installs on Steam except Shank 2, which doesn't launch because there's not really a linux binary for it yet. But they'll be ready when the linux binary finally comes out. Until then I'll play the old-fashioned way.

Same problem here with shank 2.

You mean after installing it on steam you cannot launch it? Seems like a waste of 1.5Gb download...

No, I mean after downloading the DRM-free .tar.gz file, when I try to decompress it i fails to do so and issues an error.

I've already sent an e-mail to Humble Bundle support, and I'm currently waiting for an answer.

    The question was for rudeboyskunk.

I have the same problem as you. Just installed steam, which offered to install it, but I'll wait before downloading another 1.5 Gb.

So when you get the answere please let us know.

Ah, sorry didn't know you were asking me. But yes, it was a waste of 1.5 gigs. Easy enough to remove in any case.

i clicked on them and ubuntu software center opened and was able to install shank 2, closure, legend of grimrock, and snapshot. so far I have opened legend of grimrock which worked, snapshot which worked,, shank 2 is installing now thru ubuntu software center and closure doesn't work, just get a black screen.

    this is what I see:\

i don't get the connection to steam at all versus the ubuntu software center. Since I purchased the Humble Bundle 7, how do I install Closure thru steam? It installed yesterday thru ubuntu software center but now today its not showing but I have installed in my menu. LOL

where do I go to complain about closure?

Thanks for the tip! I checked it just half an hour ago and there wasn't anything new. I'm downloading it as well (and crossing my fingers! ).

PS: I never got a reply from the HIB support team, but at least they announced it on their Twitter support account (which is where you got the news from, I assume).
