Change of name for NewDocs Wiki thread to PopularPages

Hi,

Since NewDocs has already been changed to PopularPages, the team were hoping that the Wiki Thread name could be changed to reflect this.

Is this possible?

Thanks for your reply Iowan - that is something I had not thought of - I will discuss it with the team.

I assume that you may be suggesting a completely new thread with a link to the original? Do I grasp it correctly?

I was hoping for a link to the Wiki Thread - so I don't have to search for it.

You didn't provide a link to the thread in question.

I've found it here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2110857
and renamed it for you.

But, if memory serves, since the last forum upgrade the OP is allowed to change the title of its own thread.

There are many pages with the reference to NewDocs.

What would be the alternative - A New Thread with a Link back to the old?

I suspect all posts for now on will have the PopularPages heading.

the only way is to change the title one at a time on every post and there are just to many to do that.

That may be possible, but please wait for more input from other staff members before creating a new thread.

Hi Wild Man,

Yes I eventually figured that out - as you say there are far too many to do that.

In any case there is no harm done with the historical aspect of NewDocs being on show.
