Princess Waltz Freezing

I've got Princess Waltz installed on my computer and I'm enjoying the game, but it keeps freezing at the same point, and i can't get past it. i did some checking around and found a possible solution, but I'm not sure how to fix it.

At the JAST forums i found a thread where the freeze was occuring at the exact same location in the game. The solution they found was to fix the regional area to japan, but i'm sure how to get this to work since I'm running through Wine. Help would be greatly appreciated.

go to control panel. choose language, and go to the last tab that is

administration

(or something like that ( i have diffrent languge so the tab is diffrent name). choose the "change topical preference system" and put the english language *( u s a). i hope you to understand.
