Re: (insert bad words) CLOCK PROBLEM

Try right-clicking on the time display and resetting the time.

Unless you like having more hours in the day, that is.

Is your locale set right? In that case, maybe your BIOS battery is going weak.

Mark as Solved

Hi, it helps a lot if you mark your topics as solved. Thread Tools -> Mark as Solved. This helps people looking for a solution to a similar problem - thanks!

Thank you ... I had considered marking it solved.. but the problem is not.... SO I didnt...

If you would like to be specific...

When you install the new 9.10 of Mythbuntu almost immediately it wants to do 300 updates.

Until that point although mythtv wont work, at least the clock is correct....

after you do the 300 updates you have to reboot your computer, when you do some fine piece of software in there sets the bios clock to 0:00:00.... a handy feature....

So, if you dont mind, please solve that problem with Mythbuntu or you could try minding your own back yard. Either way I dont find your words helpful in the least.

Thanks again

Jim
