Make a launcher on the desktop ?
Right click on the desktop and select create launcher. For the Name field and Comment field, put whatever you want but in the command field type firefox followed by the URL of the page(s) that you want to open.
Click on the "springboard" icon to select an appropriate icon for your launcher if required.
laucher= i cut and paste http or type it in to cmd box and i get error no such file or directory
I changed the properties from application to location and it works fine.
Thank you for the laucher advice!
I can drag&drop both bookmarks and the current site (by dragging its site-icon located before the URL). How do you do it? And what error message do you get?

That assumes he's using Firefox, though.
But yes, that's much faster than making a launcher from scratch.
I know I shouldn't use tildes for decoration, but they always make me feel at home~

Besides that, at least with Chromium drag&droping the bookmarks also works, but not the current site. I don't know about Opera though, since I don't have it installed.
