Welcome to the Zimbabwe Ubuntu Forum!
At present, we don't really have a true idea of just how many Zimbabweans are already using Ubuntu, so it is my hope that this forum will help us find out  A small group of us are currently working on setting up the Ubuntu Zimbabwe LoCo Team - more volunteers are still very welcome! Please check out the following resources: Our LoCo Team page: http://www.ubuntu-zw.org Ubuntu-zw Mailing List: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-zw We're also in the process of trying to obtain free hosting for a local Zimbabwean domain and Web site (and hopefully one day in the not-too-distant future, also a locally hosted repository mirror!). Watch the LoCo Team page for updates, and remember, new members who are willing to put in the time and effort are always welcome. Please feel free to request support or discuss the future of Ubuntu in Zim in general. Whatever tickles your fancy, as long as it's about UBUNTU!  |
