(insert bad words) CLOCK PROBLEM
Ok... I GIVE
For whatever reason linux thinks it is 6 PM ... Problem is... it is 11 Please someone tell me how to change the clock???? thanks Jim |

Try right-clicking on the time display and resetting the time.
Unless you like having more hours in the day, that is. |

Is your locale set right? In that case, maybe your BIOS battery is going weak.

Yup... it was the bios clock that was wrong....
I guess I never really considered that .... I figurued when I told it to SYNC UP to the big clock in the sky it would actually SINK UP!!! lol anyhow... I fixed the time ... thanks for the help guys Jim |

When you install the new 9.10 of Mythbuntu almost immediately it wants to do 300 updates. Until that point although mythtv wont work, at least the clock is correct.... after you do the 300 updates you have to reboot your computer, when you do some fine piece of software in there sets the bios clock to 0:00:00.... a handy feature.... So, if you dont mind, please solve that problem with Mythbuntu or you could try minding your own back yard. Either way I dont find your words helpful in the least. Thanks again Jim Jim |
