    iphone upnp server

    Hello,

Just playing around with some UPNP/DLNA media servers / but only gmediaserver seems to support the iphone.
(But it only supports streaming mp3 i think?)

I would like to stream avi / jpg / flac maybe with transcoding, this features are be supported by mediatomb for PS3 and other clients but the iphone doesn't see the mediatomb server.

It also listens on the 0.0.0.0:49152 port (the same for gmediaserver) but it's not visible in my 2 iphone upnp clients (uPnPPeek and MLPLayer lite, both free)

    Best reagards,
    Jean-Luc

I would suggest AirVideo - you can find more information here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1456417

Eh... I'm bumping this myself I need a upnp server for music - preferably with on the fly transcoding for ALAC/FLAC.

I'm running the foobar upnp server now, through Wine, and then I listen to it with PlugPlayer, but the lossless files stutter
