my pictures in my folders will not display

all it does is show the little loading circle but it never shows my pictures....

also the little icons in firefox for my bookmarks aren't showing up somebody please help and thank you in advance

This is a known bug with Nautilus. Go to System - Administration - System Monitor. Click Processes tab. Scroll down to Nautilus, highlight and click End Process.
