Unhappy Ubuntu server edition does not see my partitions

ok well, everything is fine into I get to the partition part of the installation.
here are two images, one that shows the installation *not* seen my partitions and the other with my partitions using fdisk -l
No idea why is doing this,
This is for a cloud install, I already installed the cluster with the same disk, this one in particular is for a node, so during the installation I choose node and continue etc.

Also I'm wondering why it does not give me the option to create partitions or anything.. is like if not even seen the disks..
but the system does see them that fdisk -l command was run from the same install after exiting to console doing ctrl+alt+f2 etc

ok this is retarded I notice that if I actually create LVM partitions/volumes then IT DOES see it.. WHY? what if I do not wish to use LVM on my nodes? I don't understand why I do not have more options on the installation... hmmm Ubuntu is starting to look like windows if I can't skip or modify something manually the way I like to.
